Re: US Concedes That Osama Bin Laden Was Un-armed. (3 May 2011)
Sounds like the military, lying to make their story seem more heroic than it really is. Shooting an unarmed person is called murder, no matter who they are. Only cowards shoot unarmed people! |

Re: US Concedes That Osama Bin Laden Was Un-armed. (3 May 2011)
they might be cleaning up their story in preparation for releasing the video as they're under increasing pressure to prove it. they can't release the video of an unarmed man being shot if they've been saying different things about him. The Taliban announcd 3 hours ago that they do not acknowledge the american claim without proper proof |

I'm so sorry. It doesn't matter whether or not he was armed. The orders were to take him, and they followed their orders. The women or whatever that were nearby and were killed are what is known as 'collateral damage'. Kind of an "oh well". |

Re: US Concedes That Osama Bin Laden Was Un-armed. (3 May 2011)
Bush and Cheney said dead or alive....get him. He wasn't armed. although the FIRST story was that he "resisted" and "fired back", but that (CONSIDERING THE SEAL 6'S TALENTS) in itself is VERY unlikely because the FIRST shot from the first seal would have been spot on and he would not have had the chance to fire in the FIRST place. I think that the peopole providing the (formal/public) debriefing....NEED TO GET IT RIGHT.....when their lies can't even be kept straight.....it just looks bad. |

Maxwell Smart: Because at this very moment, this warehouse is being surrounded by one hundred cops with Doberman pinschers. Would you believe it? A hundred cops with Doberman pinschers. Nicholas Dimente: I find that hard to believe. Maxwell Smart: Would you believe ten security guards and a bloodhound? Nicholas Dimente: I don't think so. Maxwell Smart: How about a Boy Scout with rabies? |
