Glad it turned out as well as it did.

It sure could have gone badly.

Oh, so very badly.
She's too clever, and way too trusting.

Re: *Updated* Philadelphia Girl, 4, Sneaks Out Alone For 3 A.M. Slushie Run

I guess I don't see a huge deal here. I'm trying to see the silver lining. She is safe. I see a really smart and clever and engaged four year old. Sure, she should have been sleeping at that time of night--that's the only thing I find really odd.

She just sound like one that probably keeps mom and dad on their toes!

Maybe mom and dad might need to have a gentle talk with her about the ways of the world though. You don't want to scare them to death at that age, but certainly this shouldn't be happening!

She was a very lucky little girl that the man helping her onto the bus and the driver did the right thing.

Torresdale Avenue is a big street and not at all someplace a child should be crossing alone!

I like happy endings! The parents need to rethink their child security in that house!

That's one brave girl.
She's too young to know about all the evil in the world yet.

I'm along the same lines. She looks well-dressed (she did a good job and the folks are providing good clothes) and in my mind, they are raising a confident little rascal.

Not sure what the solution would be to prevent it, Better locks and a talk-to?

I was talking more about going out into the dark and without her parent(s). My 8 year old nephew would never do that.
