my grandchildren are bi-racial, white, black, Hispanic. my children are color blind and they love who they love., they are better people than i am. i was raised deep south, very racial environment. i have worked hard to rise above the way i was raised. having bi-racial grandchildren certainly changes your perspective. you love them unconditionally. as a white female, i am experiencing racism for the 1st time through my grandchildren and i ache for them. i don't understand how people can define someone by the color of their skin. we all bleed red
