CHESTER, PA - September 27, 2012 (WPVI) -- Six teenage girls attacked a mentally disabled woman as she sat outside her Delaware County home, police say. It was Tuesday night around 9:15 p.m. when the six high school girls gathered on a Chester street corner and started rolling the video on a cell phone. At first, it seems they're just hanging out and goofing around for the camera. Then, they turn their attention to a woman sitting in front of her apartment down the block. A video surveillance camera catches them as they walk toward her. "Talk to her first. Talk to her first," one of the girls can be heard saying on the cell phone video. The girls say something to the woman as they approach and then, without warning, one of them punches the woman. The others join in punching and kicking her as she crawls inside. The girls follow right into her house where the mayhem continues. The victim makes it to a couch where one girl hits her with a chair. Then they take turns crawling on top of her, pummeling her with their fists and laughing. "We out. We out. We out," one of the girls says. At that point, the girls scramble from the house and are again picked up by video surveillance as they run down the street. The 48-year-old victim is mentally disabled and never called the police. Authorities learned of the incident when a parent called after seeing the video posted on Facebook. "This is something that occurs in the city that normally we don't have evidence of. You hear about things like this, but you generally don't see them firsthand, as in this account," Chester Police Detective James Nolan said. The police have taken the victim to get treatment for her injuries. Her neighbor described the victim's injuries to Action News. "Her face is all beat up, swelling. She says doesn't want to stay here no more," neighbor Ken Worly said. Other neighbors are outraged. "That was wrong cause if it was my daughters, I would have brought them [to police] so you could have locked them up," neighbor Tanien Washington said. The police have identified the girls in the video. Four of them have been taken into police custody. The fourth, turned in by her father! Police say, although the girls are juveniles, the crimes are so serious they may charge them as adults with several felonies that carry the potential for very substantial jail time. *UPDATE* Check out the incubator of the two girls a little bit into the clip! CHESTER, PA - September 28, 2012 (WPVI) -- Police say all six teenage suspects in the videotaped beating of a mentally disabled woman are now in custody.

16-year-old Anye Dennis, 16-year-old Rahmiyah Henderson, 15-year-old Jamia Davis and 16-year-old Janeya Bell appeared before a judge Friday morning. All four are being charged as adults in the videotaped beating that happened outside the victim's home in Chester.

Police tell Action News that the two remaining girls - 19-year-old Takia Edwards-Couch and 17-year-old Jasmir Womack - were rounded up late Friday afternoon. Both were awaiting arraignment on the same charges as the others.

After their court appearance Dennis, Henderson, Davis and Bell were loaded into a van and taken off to Delaware County prison.

Police say the attack happened on Tuesday night. All six teenagers were allegedly seen on cell phone video viciously beating and stomping a mentally disabled woman as she sat on her front step.

Police say they chased the woman into her house and continued to beat her with a chair, a shoe and their fists.

Delaware County District Attorney John Whalen calls videotaped beating outrageous.

"It was certainly very upsetting to see that video, to see that callous disregard for that woman's health and well-being," he said.

The victim is now at an undisclosed location after getting treatment for her wounds. She told police she didn't call them after the Tuesday night attack because she was afraid.

Authorities believe that Bell appears to be the ringleader. Police say she is seen on the video pulling a sweatshirt over her school uniform, leading the pack and throwing the first punches.

Action News tried to speak with the mother of Davis and Bell.

"I never talked to my child since she went to school yesterday, I have yet to talk to her," she said, referring to Davis. When asked about her other daughter, Bell, who police say appeared to be the instigator, she said, "I don't know that story. I haven't talked to her since yesterday. I haven't seen the video and I haven't talked to my child. I'm sorry for the things that happened, but I have nothing else to say."

Police say they are getting no cooperation from the girls, whom they describe as arrogant and defiant, even threatening to fire bomb a police officer's car.

Attorney Enrique Latoison - who represents Dennis - says that is not the case for his client and that she is remorseful.

"She is very upset about the situation. She mentioned how she was raised," said Latoison. "She understands it is a bad reflection on her and a bad reflection on her family."

The video shows numerous physical assaults, but Latoison says they didn't come from Dennis.

"I will tell you my client never made a physical contact with the victim in the case," he said. "She did not throw any punches."

Charges for the teens includes first degree aggravated assault and burglary.

Bail was set at 10 percent of $50,000 and as of Saturday afternoon all six girls remained in custody.

That is just sad that they enjoy doing that to someone. They don't deserve to be alive for such pleasure of beating on a disabled woman.

Typical bunch of cowardly losers with a mob mentality! No respect for other humans!

I love that the fourth girl was turned in by her father! I added that after I saw the late news.

Being from Philly and familiar with the armpit of Chester they need to try them as adults and put them in jail for awhile. It is only prolonging the inevitable as if they have no remorse attacking someone who is handicapped they would not hesitate to kill someone.

Fucking mental little bitches. I really hate people who have the 'courage' to abuse people weaker than them in a large group. Bet that if they face a challenge of some kind alone, every single one of them would burst into tears while shitting their pants.

I hope their families beat their ass til they couldn't sit down, then turned them in. This is a disgusting assault on a special needs person. Nothing pisses me off worse then stuff like this or violence towards children. Why attack the helpless? take on someone your own size and see what happens.
