The CIA has more to do with it than anyone else. In conjunction with other Western Intelligence Agencies, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, etc. Where was al-Qaeda getting that endless supply of American made TOW missles? The ones that they fired off like bottle rockets on any whim? Why were al-Qaeda and ISIS the recipients of numerous massive 'accidental' ammo/resupply drops? Why did Obammy give ISIS 2,400 Humvees? Plus M16's, ammo, uniforms, medicine, food, etc.? Why did the US allow Turkey to fund ISIS with the sale of looted oil...for years...without any opposition? Why did the US and the rest of The West do nothing to stop Saudi Arabia, Quatar and others from funding and supporting al-Qaeda and ISIS? The US, and the rest of The West, is filthy dirty in all of this and it's hands could not possibly be any more bloody. As it turns out, Assad is responsible for only an infinitesimally small part of what is going on in the geopolitical game unfolding there. |
