Russia has 1k more nukes than America. They have reduced their number by half in the last 10 years. 10 years from now America will have a larger nuclear arsenal. I just read up on the whole tactical nuke issue. It seems that not only does America have it's own, NATO is currently in possession of them in Europe, and is developing a newer generation of them. |

So how much does 5000 nuclear bombs cost? Billions right.  And 69 billion in fuel  sure it's not that much. But it's at least a third of that. I forgot you don't understand sarcasm. It's fucking hilarious you think Russia spends 69 billion a year defense. All because that's what the Internet tells you. You're too much. |

Rob. Nobody knows exactly what of how many anything Russia has. All thats known for sure is they have them, and they have a fucking lot. It's unbelievable that you or Poo believe you can simply check the Internet to know how many nukes Russia has... Obama doesn't even know for sure.

You said they cost billions to build and place, and billions to maintain.. First of all each nuclear weapon only costs millions, and they haven't built any for the last 25+ years. Secondly they have less nukes than we do(5000), and refurbishing our 7000 for 30 years only costs $250 billion. That means refurbishing their entire arsenal would be around $175 billion. If spread out over the 30 years to refurb them as they "expire" would cost Russia only 5.83 billion a year. That would constitute only 8.5% of their $69 billion dollar "hypothetical" budget. Not much of a stretch.. The US is only putting 1.9% of it's new lower defense budget annually toward nuclear refurbishment.
