I've been saying it for the past 5 years: the constitution and the amendmends need substantial reconstruction. If every idiot out there runs around with their stupid freedom of speech, then, well, we'd all be uneducated morons spewing propaganda in the streets like with these protests. Freedom of speech, not freedom of stupidity, or laziness. I say: rewrite the Bill of Rights.
As far as the National Defense Authorization Act (and also the website seizing from 2010-2011) are concerned, fuck due process trials. You did something criminally wrong or encouraged it, you pay the price. So many people on Earth complain about trials taking fucking forever anyways and how the judicial system is overprocessed. Well these are several steps to rewrite the overly complicated system that we have.

And, honestly, all of this will have a major impact on basically no one's lives, unless you really fucked yourself over, so get over it. Canada doesn't proclaim "freedom of speech" and Quebec never signed the Canada Act... but yet everybody loves Canada, why do you think that is? (Why do Aussies love Australia so much?) It's because people there are fine with the rules and culture in place, so changes in liberty aren't so important. And they shouldn't be.

All this "anti-government" and "take a stand" and "vote now" propaganda is just sucking the fun out of being in the USA. What government should do is help out people who are wrongly in poverty, thoroughly clean up crime/the streets, and get people back to having fun and with more money to spare.

First of all, remember the patriot act. the government is allowed to listen/tape the conversations of ANYONE "they" deem a terrorist. and notice on line 23 under COVERED PERSONS, if you are a threat to a coalition partner, you are also a terrorist threat to the united states of america.

line 17 under DISPOSITION UNDER LAW OF WAR; read it well, it only says that united states citizens cannot be detained by the military. it does not promise that we will never be detained by any other agency indefinitely.
