I'm pretty sure that's an area with a lot of T-storms power outages, why the parents would not have decent working generators is beyond me.

Those back up system should have been checked, frequently. So I'm not too impressed with the parents right now.

Maybe the parents were tired of all the work and bills and were kinda waiting, kinda wishing for this to happen even if just subconsciously.

I dated a guy with muscular dystrophy at one time. He had a very severe form at age 28 he was dependent on the ventilator to live. There was a rainstorm one night and the power went out for several hours. If his family hadn't instructed me on how to use the backup power supply, he would've died too. It's sad that these twins died the way they did. My ex-boyfriend told me it was the most horrible feeling, struggling to breathe.
