Re: Tucson SWAT Team Defends Shooting Iraq Vet 60 Times
what part of the Marine who had no criminal record did you miss? Since you're such a proponent of our Criminal Justice system, you should know that you're innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. As far as i'm concerned, they killed, nay turned into hamburger, a Marine and father due to shitty planning and training. Any officer who says that this couldn't have been prevented is a damn liar. Verbal commands once they saw him would have been in order as well. It's SOP for officers to avoid firing a weapon. And that BS about him forgetting to take off the safety? Are you fucking kidding me? he's been trained on that rifle better than you've been trained to use your dick. Prior Planning Prevents Piss-Poor Performance.

I sincerely hope that, since you have a gun as your avatar, you own guns and get gunned down by the police for carrying it you house. But hey, you were asking for it, right? Does a girl who gets raped ask for it by what she wears, or where she goes? Get off your moral high horse jackass, and snap back to reality. This could've just as easily been you.

Re: Tucson SWAT Team Defends Shooting Iraq Vet 60 Times
sad. the man didn't deserve to be gunned down by a glorified goon squad of thugs in front of his family. they could have disabled him. period. blow a shoulder out, take a knee cap out, shoot em in the cawk. disable. trained marksmen needed to fire 71 rounds at one man? and even one of our fellow americans think this is OK? whew. saddest bit of it all candy is there is very little outrage. people are just standing back handing their personal freedoms off and not even resisting. like someone said presumed innocence. if this is how they treat an innocent man what's next for my sister or your brother or our sons? shocking level of disgusting. |

Re: Tucson SWAT Team Defends Shooting Iraq Vet 60 Times
me too. and for many of the same reasons you spoke about. someone better be held accountable for gunning a presumed innocent man down. they could keep that fuck loughtner ALIVE? after killing how many people? but a war veteran dies in a hail of bullets with his gun on safety for suspected criminal activities and NOT EVEN ONE ARREST HAS BEEN MADE? totally pisses me off. |

Re: Tucson SWAT Team Defends Shooting Iraq Vet 60 Times
It absolutely could not and would not be me. Know why? Because I am not a criminal. If 12 SWAT cars surounded my house, beat on my door and warned me to come out with my hands up, thats EXACTLY what i'd do... Not jump up like a fucking moron and put myself and my family in a life threatening situation like that. |

Re: Tucson SWAT Team Defends Shooting Iraq Vet 60 Times
"suspected criminal activities"!?!?!?!? He did not get killed because the police "suspected" that'd he had committed illegal acts in the past. The dumb motherfucker got killed because he was in the process of committing a felony with a firearm that could have resulted in the deaths of police officers. are you stupid |
