Not self defense, it was self offense. Miu had his knife out before any blows were thrown. Miu threw the first punch - at the blonde women. Of course the teens were going to engage him when he did that. On camera, Miu lunged at a cowering, wounded 115 pound woman, thrusting his knife toward her.

Based on the testimony so far, most of the witnesses were too drunk, traumatized or distracted be credible in court, so the case is in the video. Miu's attacks on Ryhley will earn an attempted homicide conviction if the prosecution is competent.

I have not heard Madison's testimony but she has the potential to be credible and damaging to the defense.

For this and all other media frenzies, the social media comments are knee-jerk reactions to viewing 30 seconds of one-sided footage, which big E places at the top of the search engines to sell their agenda. For Apple River, the big E agenda is to attack the teens for "bullying:" Show an old man in distress among screaming, mocking teens who appear to be continuously pursuing and pummeling him. This bias influenced the comments in this DR thread as well.

Pulp social media commenters are incredibly lazy. Anybody who takes the time to view the unedited footage and testimony can form a fact-based opinion. But who has time to do that? The media news feeds do the heavy lifting, so the hip, connected people can take 2 minutes to scorn the evil bullies and get back to their video games.

I see people calling him an old man but he's only 54, to me that's not old but maybe it is to younger folks.


I followed the trial, and that man lied and lied telling police he was attacked by two teens with a knife and that they pulled down his trunks, shit like that. None of that happened so that alone tells you something. I'm sure he's 'gutted' that there's video footage.

You're right, people hate reading these days. They rather watch 20 second tiktok videos because that's all their brain can handle.

I know after 5 minutes I don't have a full picture of what happened, that's why court cases last somewhat longer than a few minutes. But it looked like the defendant was pushed over and punched in the face before he stabbed anyone. If that is the case, then I think he was partially justified to do what he did.

That was about to turn into a lynching. Don't try and tell me 'oh it was only one punch' because that's how it starts. I've been in enough scrapes, sometimes massively outnumbered, and once that first kick or punch comes, it's almost always going to be followed up with more, especially when alcohol and an excited mob are involved.

In one brawl which was about 20 vs 2, just before I got knocked unconscious I was on the floor and could see my mate about 3 metres away and a guy was stamping on his head repeatedly. My mate survived but was left permanently disabled at 20 years old. I was luckier. Knowing what I know now, if I got in such a situation again that threatened to unfold like this on the video above, I would happily do whatever it takes to escape unharmed, and I'd happily do the prison sentence that came with it. I have a rule that I won't start on anyone, but if they try, or succeed in hitting me then fuck it. Fuck any cunt who starts violence. There are no rules in violence. If these kids initiated the attack, as it so appears, then they got what they asked for.

LOL spycosis, sorry you got gang pummeled. Cliff notes: The man initiated the violence by punching a girl, while holding an open knife to cut up anybody who intervened. He got his wish because he was then able to stab 5 teens and young adults, killing one.
