Not in comparison of the population, no. I have a few trans friends and they're not okay with looking the other way either.

Mental health is a huge issue here for many categories of people here. Literally no help available and it's not getting any better. Even with my support of the trans community, I refuse to buy into bullshit and so do the two trans friends I have.

I like how you skirted the fact that heterosexual spree shooters greatly outnumber trans spree shooters.

You're missing the Forrest for the trees. I'm saying the number of violent offenders/sexual offenders is alarming given they account for 1% of the population.

To ignore the uprise would prove biased. Once again I support Transgender people but refuse to ignore the stats. The UK recently did a study and the facts can't be ignored.

It's male to female transition that is more likely to commit a violent or sexual crime. I'd like to know why so these people can be truly helped and to keep others from becoming victims.

I am assigned massive supporter of trans rights. I have trans friends. And I do still think the increase in trans shooters is still a drop in the bucket compared to your average shooter. That being said you can not ignore an increase when it is there.

There absolutely has been an increase, yes numbers still don't lie. But increase is still an increase. The world is progressively getting more anti trans and this could obviously play a roll in it. People tend to lash out when they feel hopeless.

Also, at 1% trans shooters are under represented not over represented. According to the Gun Violence Archive (GVA), there were 5,748 mass shootings between Jan 1, 2013 and September 15, 2025 in the U.S. Of that number, there have been five confirmed transgender shooters, GVA told FactCheck.org. That means that transgender individuals were responsible for less than 0.1% of incidents over that time period.

Oh and the point im making with them being underrepresented is I'd like to see the data current. Because there has been such an increase.

This, I fear is the root cause, possibly. And incidents like this only cement those people's beliefs more than anything, while spreading to others.

Once again it's like a double edge sword and I am at a loss for any valid solution.
