I seen a show on that, it was about Heroin. We are pretty lax about drugs here but I seen a guy from Amsterdam shooting up on the street...it happens in Vancouver as well but not in broad daylight or nothing! That is fucking crazy! Very progressive though about sanctioned shooting galleries and such!

They have been dismantling the red light areas for some time now.. Amsterdam's is about a third of the size it was 10 years ago. I don't know what the fuck the government here were playing at when they passed these laws. Lining their own pockets with US bribes (the CIA under Bush had put great pressure on the Netherlands to tighten its drug policies). Thats the only logical reason I can see coz they fucked this country up good style already.
