I have heard and seen the photographer on an interview.
My take is that he doesn't feel guilty. It's more like his ego is offended that he is getting seen in a bad light. Even though he certainly deserves it.
Most people don't really regret doing wrong. They just hate getting caught and don't like the repercussions.
If there were no consequences, they'd do it again.
