I bet, at the end of this, if she asks, "What can I ever do to repay you?"

He says, "How about a blow job?"

Seriously though, that's quite a generous guy right there. Hopefully she'll be ok.
Yeah, I kind of admit I thought that too.

Re: Texas Restaurant Owner Sells Business To Help Employee With Brain Tumor

fair play,, just read u live in good old Yanky land,, the thing ther is,, you have cheap fuel,, so you can drive ur SUVs ,, thats all well and good till you get ill,, then thats where our high fuel bills come in to play,, how do you think we get free helth care,, you guessed it,, high tax. so the choice is,, high tax, drive a small car and get free health care,, or in the case of yanky land,, drive ur SUVs for pennys and then die of cancer (if ur unlucky and get it),, thats if ur don,t want to sell the house u have worked all ur life getting.

just one note to all the yanks who will be crying how great the USA is,, if i was to get cancer again (and I will) I wouldnt go through the treatment again anyway, so fuck knows y i,m still here, so its USA here I come

I wouldn't say gas is cheap here, but I have heard it's way more expensive in other places. I don't drive an SUV. So nyeah! lol

The way the government uses taxes is very wonky. But that's a whole other subject.

Re: Texas Restaurant Owner Sells Business To Help Employee With Brain Tumor

very generous. not many would do this
I hate to be that guy but here's what I read

The guy has been trying to sell the place (already had the place up for sale)

Has had no buyers/interest

Halfs the price

Says anything over the asking price goes to the girl. Remember that he turned down 1.5million and says he has lowered the asking price by 50% so it's safe to assume he expected more than 3 million first time around

Seem less generous now? I may have read it wrong or just too much of a pessimist on a Tuesday. Hope the girl gets the help she needs but I fear he is motivated more by greed (free publicity) than concern for his employee.

^ My thoughts exactly. He benefits from this, too. It's a good market strategy- they both get what they want. I'm always suspicious of anyone who boasts about their own generosity to the media.
