It's not on the seven deadly sins list, but Catholicism views it as a mortal sin. Doesn't matter either way, as nutty fundamentalists would view this as an act of martyrdom, not suicide. He's obviously talking out of his ass, but if by some miracle he does set himself ablaze, I will point and laugh.  |
