Texas Parole Officer & Boyfriend Charged in Child Porn Case
Investigation continues in parole officer's child porn case A Victoria County parole officer suspected of producing child pornography remained in custody after a federal judge deferred her detention hearing Friday. The hearing was rescheduled until further investigation takes place, according to court documents. Saralyn Ann Proschko, 46, of Victoria, is being held on a federal complaint following her July 10 arrest on suspicion of possession of child pornography. Her boyfriend, David Ray McGee, 47, of Wallis, also is in jail on a warrant charging him with aggravated sexual assault of a minor child. He is being held at the Austin County Jail with a federal hold on him with no bond set. According to court documents, Proschko told detectives she took several videos of a child engaging in sexual activity. McGee was filmed in some of the videos, according to the document. Proschko gave Victoria police officers consent to check her phone, where images and video of the child pornography were recovered. Proschko also told investigators she was in possession of more child pornography in her email account, according to court documents. Victoria police officers initially met with Proschko on July 10 when she filed a complaint that her boyfriend was in possession of child pornography, according to court documents. During the investigation interview, Proschko admitted to filming the videos. If convicted, both Proschko and McGee face between 15 and 30 years in federal prison. The Victoria District Parole office suspended Proschko without pay pending a disciplinary hearing. The agency is moving forward with disciplinary action to terminate Proschko, who has been employed with the agency almost 11 years, said Jason Clark, Texas Department of Criminal Justice public information officer. McGee's case has yet to go before the grand jury. Bond for Saralyn Ann Proschko, 46, of Victoria, was set at $50,000 with a $2,500 cash deposit at her detainment hearing with U.S. Magistrate B. Janice Ellington. She remained in custody Tuesday evening awaiting a pre-trial officer to approve the conditions of her bond, said deputy Max Hernandez with the U.S. Marshals Service. Conditions of her bond include wearing a GPS tracking device and living with a custodian. Proschko was being held on a federal complaint following her July 10 arrest on suspicion of possession of child pornography. This happened in my area, and from what I understand, she found out the boyfriend was cheating on her, so to get back at him, she contacted the police in regards to his possession of child porn. When the police asked her how long she knew about this, she said she had known for a while. Apparently she fessed up about her involvement when the police grilled her. The circumstances of her admission may not be true, but I wouldn't put anything past a piece of shit like her. I don't think she is remorseful about her involvement at all. I think she just regrets being caught. |

She's probably trying to secure some sort of deal from the D.A.'s office, or figured she'd be able to. The dumb bitch works in the system, so you'd think she would've known that she would've been implicated. So disgusting AND stupid. |
