Re: Possible Terror Attack in London They aren't releasing the name of the suspect until they have had an opportunity to interview those close to him and known associates. From the most recent press conference given by New Scotland Yard it sounds very much as if they are very well aware of the identification of the attacker posted on the internet and that the identification is wrong. Just because the attacker is dead it isn't case closed, speaking to family and friends or close contacts can reveal possible reasons for their actions, although it is being considered to be linked with international terrorism they cannot assume that to be the actual case, it could simply be a lone person with mental issues who finally snapped. When a motive can be established beyond reasonable doubt, then the identity will be revealed. There is also the fact that releasing the identity may also make others involved go on the run. It makes a great deal of sense when you think about it... |
