Teen Shot to Death in Richton Park

A 17-year-old boy was shot to death in south suburban Richton Park Friday night.
Kyle Fisher, of the 500 block of West Hickory Street in Chicago Heights, was in the 22000 block of Belmont Road in Richton Park about 10 p.m. when he was shot in the head, authorities said. Police said Fisher was with friends in the parking lot at Glaeser Park when a person pulled out a handgun and shot him.

The shooter then left the scene in a car, police said.

Fisher was driven to the Richton Park Police Department, then taken to St. James Hospital in Olympia Fields, where he was pronounced dead at 11:30 p.m., according to police and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.

Anyone with information about the shooting should contact Richton Park Police Department Detective Brian Steele at (708) 283-6393 ext. 230.

This is just up the street from the house I grew up in. I want to know who they have doing their sketches.
