Authorities have removed a deer from a Warren County classroom.
Kings Junior High School told News 5 that the deer apparently broke through a window into the classroom, damaging a computer along the way.

A teacher and two high school students were in the classroom when the deer came in, the school said. The three left and closed the door to keep the deer isolated. No one was injured.

A teacher at the school retrieved a tranquilizer gun from his home and shot the deer. The deer was taken from the school, but authorities said the deer had broken its leg and it died soon after.

Students will remain out of the classroom until the window can be repaired and the room is cleaned.

Good on him, he saved the deer a lot of potentially fatal stress and protected the class
