Taylor Hawkins, Drummer of Foo Fighters Passes Away Aged 50
On March 25, 2022, emergency services were called to the Casa Medina hotel in Bogotá, Colombia, where Hawkins was suffering from chest pain in his hotel room. Health personnel arrived and found Hawkins unresponsive; they performed CPR, but he was declared dead at the scene. No cause of death was given. The band was scheduled to perform at the Estéreo Picnic Festival in Bogotá, Colombia, that night. The following day, Colombian authorities announced that a preliminary urine toxicology test indicated that Hawkins had ten substances in his system at the time of his death, including opioids, benzodiazepines, tricyclic antidepressants, and THC, the psychoactive compound in cannabis Foo Fighters Last Show | Lollapalooza Argentina (March 20, 2022) >>>> Arriving in Bogota [photo] · |

I am fucking heartbroken Foo Fighters have been one of my favourite bands for nearly 23 years. I'm hoping it's not drugs after he almost died in August 2001. R.I.P |

But then there is also this at the very top of the first page of the insert that comes in every box of four vials in the Pfizer injection... Hmmm Plus there is also this... Hmmm... No, I'm sure it was daylight saving that did it. |

One of the best modern drummers around. Sad loss. Now, should they decide to rock on, I would like to see Mike Portnoy (ex - Dream Theater drummer) get behind the kit. |

Same, glad I got to see them just before the pandemic hit, didn't think it would be the last time. They found him unresponsive in his hotel room before their show in Columbia. |
