Re: Taliban Responds to Prince Harry: ‘It’s Not a Game—it’s Very, Very Real
Sharon, F1 drivers don't use videogames to train: they use simulators that cost MILLIONS; a videogame is not the same thing. The most expensive f1 videogame costs £49.99, the cheapest F1 simulator costs £4millions. The simulator used by Ferrari F1 drivers in 2010 (F2010) for example costed €.5 millions, see this article http://www.blitzquotidiano.it/sport/...di-euro-57540/and see it in action http://www.auto.it/video/ferrari/201...latore+Ferrari No, definitely videogames and simulators are not the same thing. As ices said, Harry is the dude who was flying an Apache: he knows what's the difference between a videogame and a real helicopter. |

Re: Taliban Responds to Prince Harry: ‘It’s Not a Game—it’s Very, Very Real
so Harry learned using video game controls?....so did every other copter pilot....its how they are taught. He was relating his experiences and stated the similarities. and HEY....ISNT TALIBAN EXTERMINATION A PART OF THE MISSION ANYWAY????? Another thing: Afghanistan will never be conquered, and its people will always be fierce and independent. This Politicala issue will pass, the ALLIES, LIKE THE SOVIETS will be long gone, and the people will still be living their lives. |

Re: Taliban Responds to Prince Harry: ‘It’s Not a Game—it’s Very, Very Real
The so called war between Afghanistan and Russia was actually a conflict between D.R. of Afghanistan + Soviets Vs. : Mujahideen Pakistan ISI CIA MI6 China People's Liberation Army Saudi Arabia We all know how it ended up: withdrawal of Soviet forces from Afghanistan, with 15,000 KIA + 50,000 wounded. In 2001 USA decided to attack them: ok, but how comes that despite 15 of the 19 hijackers who did 9/11 were citizens of Saudi Arabia they came to the conclusion that bombing Afghanistan was the first thing to do? Why not attack straight Saudi Arabia then? Because they're "friends". Yes, they consider women like pieces of shit, but yet it's a friendly country to the US, right? The rpg used to pull down US helicopters are mostly made in the USA. The know how of talibans is second to no one because CIA trained them. Bin Laden himself had security training from the CIA. That's not a whaco conspiracy theory, that's the truth. Now, please tell me what you see here: ![]() Now heroin is cheaper (true), that's the only concrete result of the whole thing. |

Re: Taliban Responds to Prince Harry: ‘It’s Not a Game—it’s Very, Very Real
I also like to point out how many people feel enraged by Harry because the Taliban are enraged about it. So what we now know is that people dont yet know who and what the taliban are. They are murderers who believe in sky fairies and cowards that use women and children as shields or ploys. So people now side with the taliban... |

Fair enough, but this is a high profile member of the royal family. It's inflammatory enough him fighting, without mentioning games whilst doing it. We see nothing wrong with it, but Terry the Taliban sure does. And they are the ones with AK's and IED's. |

By the MODs own admission when the base came under attack he was taken under heavy guard to the most secure location. Fuck the idle cunt, he goes back to a life of luxury and idleness while his 'comrades' go home to ub40s and pay cuts. I shed no tears for his mother and will shed no tears for him

Re: Taliban Responds to Prince Harry: ‘It’s Not a Game—it’s Very, Very Real
And this is why I The Taliban, as you should know from what you've seen on this site are just a bunch of primates who believe in nothing but growing a beard, killing/mutilating girls and women and killing any NATO soldier they see. These people were working with terrorists and still do to this day to murder people, there is no political goal, its racial and religious genocide. You're a westerner? White person? You're beheaded. You're not Muslim? You're beheaded. You're an aid worker who is supposedly spreading the word of christianity in muslim lands? SHot and/or beheaded. These are real facts of what they are, I dont give a flying fuck about how they feel or how they'll react to what Harry is doing. Murderers will always find an excuse to kill someone, ask any serial killer. "Why do you kill people?" "because I can". A good Taliban/terrorist is a dead terrorist. The more Harry kills in his Apache the better. |

Re: Taliban Responds to Prince Harry: ‘It’s Not a Game—it’s Very, Very Real
Forgot to say about F1 drivers: Hamilton did use both simulator and PS3 in 2012 to have an idea about Austin track, which was only recently completed so no telemetric data were available yet, so he was able to learn at least the sequence of the corners. P.s.: sorry for the veeeeeeeeeeery off topic post. |

Re: Taliban Responds to Prince Harry: ‘It’s Not a Game—it’s Very, Very Real
F1 drivers use games to become extremely familiar with the tracks. They use the simulators to "simulate" the environment, hence the name "simulator" They have Apache simulators too I bet. |
