Tainted Pet Treats from China!
Tainted pet treats still on shelves Updated: Monday, 20 Feb 2012, 2:00 PM EST Published : Monday, 20 Feb 2012, 2:00 PM EST WASHINGTON (WDTN) - US Senator Sherrod Brown is urging the US Food and Drug Administration take quick action to protect consumers and pet owners from tainted pet treats that come for China. According to Brown, the tainted are still on store shelves despite numerous reports of sickened pets. The FDA says at least 79 cases have been reported since November 2011, bringing the total number of dogs that got sick or died to around 150. The treats in question are chicken jerky treats made by several brands. They may also be sold as chicken jerkey tenders or strips. They have a "Made in China' label on the back. Now the FDA is urging both vets and consumers to report any illnesses they suspect is related to pet food. You can contact the FDA at www. fda.gov to report an incident. |

Maybe we can/should do that for all of the crappy products made in China. Have the US government publish safety warnings and MAYBE it would result in my products being bought from Canada, the UK, THE USA.
