Busted, undeniably.
Oh wow, thats rich. Especially from a holy roller. I'd go out on a limb and guess dudes born again too? Thats usually where the rock bottom grasp for any hopes of redeeming dignity. Hide behind church and a book.

Re: Study: U.S. Becoming Less Christian

Christians are not marginalized at all, that is complete bullshit.

They have the same rights every other religious group has.

Just because they don't get to make government policy doesn't make them marginalized.
Lol. What you said is kinda the definition of marginalized.

Why wouldn't a Christian be able to make government policies?

Rights have nothing to do with marginalizing. But saying "they don't get to make government policy" Saying they don't get a say in it is what marginalizing is.
Marginalize:
to relegate to an unimportant or powerless position within a society.

Re: Study: U.S. Becoming Less Christian

When my brother was signing up to join the Marines, his recruiter told him that he should claim he was religious if he wanted better odds of getting in.

So, how big of a percentage of that 88% do you think just checked yes, to keep up appearances?

Maybe 3% but that could swing both ways. There very well could be some who do believe but didn't offer any connection.

For the same reasons you wouldn't want a Muslim making religious based laws that apply to you.

You have the freedom to worship as you please.
You just don't get to push your religion on everybody else.

Re: Study: U.S. Becoming Less Christian

The United states' foundation was never built around christian doctrines. It was actually a regurgitation of rome's.

Mock all you wish. It only proves your views are narrow, and you can't think on the scale needed to understand the world outside your bubble.

Re: Study: U.S. Becoming Less Christian

I hate to break the bad news to ya skippy. "the beginning of the american downfall"? The scales tipped a while ago. Maybe you were too busy at church getting your Jesus on to notice. And it has nothing to do with moral fabric. The pillow biters, butt pirates and pot smoking fornicators are not to blame. Its STUPID FUCKING PEOPLE who are. Stupid fucking people that go to church then go home and bump uglies and have stupid fucking kids because the guy in the fancy robe and the big silly hat says that the invisible all knowing wizard in the sky zippin around on his magic carpet frowns upon putting a condom on your wang and taking birth control pills. Stupid fucking people that eat up every spoonful of bullshit the media serves up with no question because "that Sean Hannity he's a great american, loves Jesus and supports our troops" or "that Rachel Maddow, she seems really smart and takes up for the little people oppressed by the man" those people on TV I like wouldn't lie to me? Too many consumers. Not enough producers. Too many stupid fucking people that look to others to make up their minds for them. People that produce nothing. Contribute nothing to society. Just take. Not worth the air they breathe. It has nothing to do with being a Christian nation. In fact, that shit is one of the main reason we're inundated with stupid fuckers. Some people should not breed. Some children should not be born. Eugenics to a certain degree holds valid merits. Rainbows, unicorns and magic carpets all seem nice but the truth is much more ugly.
OMG I can't stop laughing!

Re: Study: U.S. Becoming Less Christian

The big problems in the US are based in religion- iron age woo woo. Not able to really teach teens about birth control, forcing people to stay married long after love is over, inequality based on sexuality, uncontrolled reproduction, hatred, bigotry, rich corrupt white-man rules.

Re: Study: U.S. Becoming Less Christian

I'm glad we have a side of govt. that gives us hope of liberating us all from that christian based oppression. Soon we will have the majority, and have the power to commit cultural genocide on Christians, cementing our ideology.

Re: Study: U.S. Becoming Less Christian

Studies, statistics and observation groups are never accurate. It just a sneaky sales pitch.
