Re: Stranded Dog Rescued From Delaware River
I cant believe no one else would help I would have been out there in a second. What happened to the good old days when firefighters helped get cats out of trees?! Now they were just going to let him freeze to death? As "feel good" as this story is, part of it really pissed me off lol |

Re: Stranded Dog Rescued From Delaware River
I was thinking there may have been something out there the dog didn't want to leave, but, it is a male, I believe. A female might not want to leave a puppy, for instance. I was wondering where the owner was, but, she did appear on camera on the later news. Took 3 or 4 days to report it though The dog may have become disoriented. At least it turned out well, but, I bet the firemen and police feel like idiots now |

Re: Stranded Dog Rescued From Delaware River
Good story, I hate when pets run away from their owners (provided they are good owners). Would have done the same, how the fuck could they not rescue the dog. |

Re: Stranded Dog Rescued From Delaware River
Poor puppy. I'm glad he was rescued. I feel bad for the dogs that are outside right now in Illinois. It's so cold. I know wild animals deal with it but a pampered house dog probably wouldn't know what to do.
