Good quote I too am a non-believer, but others, like you said, wether it be in God, Buddahism, etc do believe and it does help them in their lives. But some of those who do believe in a particular religion are prejudice agaisnt those whose beliefs differ from their own. Thats what has causes alot of tension, hate and blood shed in the world over hundreds of years and many hundreds of years to come, it will never stop. It would be great, as you put it, that if you don't believe in what others do, so what, "don't put them down". If only that were true for everyone

Hawkings isn't even in the same league as Einstein and I think his personal predicament has allowed him to speak so openly against religion - angry at the cards dealt. As mentioned Einstein would have disagreed with him (in fact he did disagree).

MY problem is that religious people put down people like me for not believing in religion. I think it's stupid to believe... but I don't cram that shit down anyone's throat like countless people have done to me throughout my life.

Life shouldn't be about limiting yourself... and it definitely shouldn't be about wasting time on people trying to make them believe or not believe in something. If you want to believe, great... but at least extend me the same courtesy. If I choose to not believe, that's on me. And nobody else.

Unfortunately I've lost many 'friends' because I don't believe in 'god' or whatever you wanna call it. Their loss.

I'm a believer in Jesus, but it isn't my place to condemn someone for their disbelief nor do I put down or degrade non-believers.

No, I'm not affiliated with any organized Cristian denomination as I see them, for the most part, as corrupt, non-compassionate, greedy, self-serving, self-interested businesses that use their members as cash cows or as ego boosts.

I am a Primitive Christian; meaning the basic tenants of faith are what matters to God.

1. Love God with all your mind, heart and soul (but I tend to fuck that up a lot but I know God forgives though Jesus' Blood).

2. Love your neighbor as you love yourself (but I tend to hate how much of a nasty shit I am and it sometimes comes out in my crassness)

All else can usually be summed up as tradition that distracts from the failings of who we are and who God is.



If you hate me for it or want to display my Hypocrisy or other acts of me just being a dick; I won't even be mad.
