CHESTER TWP, PA - March 22, 2013 (WPVI) -- A father in Chester is facing a list of charges after allegedly directing his 12-year-old daughter to fight a 13-year-old girl.

Chester Township police say it was last Wednesday afternoon that a parent brought his 12-year-old daughter to beat up a 13-year-girl she had been having an argument with.

However, that's not all.

"You can hear the father telling his daughter to hit her, kick her in the head, just keep hitting her, why you stopping, don't stop," said the 13-year-old's mother.

The victim's mother, who asked not to be identified, says she was horrified when she saw the video taken by another child on the scene.

"What parent would do that to a child? To tell the child, to encourage violence - that's not what I would instill in my child," she said.

Charged in the case is 32-year-old David Howard Butler. He happens to be a neighbor of the victims' family, who lives just a few houses down.

"She kept telling me 'Mom while she was hitting me, all I could hear was her dad saying 'Get her, don't stop, get her, don't stop, punch her, kick her,'" said the victim's mother.

Action News went to get Butler's side of the story but no one answered the door of his home.

"It extends from in the home. That right there let's you know that you don't have some decent parents out there because I wouldn't encourage that," said the victim's mother.

Meanwhile Butler faces a number of charges including Simple Assault, Corruption of Minors, Endangering the Welfare of Children and Recklessly Endangering another Person.
