Italy, A sinkhole has appeared in a suburban part of Naples after a water pipe broke and caused the road to collapse.

The 10m (33ft) chasm has led to the evacuation of over 300 people and emergency workers have been securing the area.

A hole first appeared a few days ago due to ground subsistence but the damaged water pipe and heavy rainfall led to the ground giving way creating a larger crater.

Hydrogeological risk is Italy's worst enemy: whenever it rains some disaster occurs, towns like Naples are almost entirely built over layers that the sooner or the later will collapse. There are more than 14,000 monuments at risk, here's a map of the areas with the highest potential hazards:
Red = landslides hazards
Blue = flooding hazards
Green = snow avalanches hazards
