Re: Sinclair's Script for Local News Stations

Alex jones is on to something
he's a broken watch...he is right from time to time because he clusterbombs his audience with claims. if you make enough claims, some of them are bound to be true by coincidence.

he claims that the news fabricates stories out of whole cloth to control the masses.

in reality, they sell sensationalism instead of facts, so they take real news stories but they present them in a way that gets an emotional rise from their audience, which in return gets them more views. more views equates to more ad revenue brought in, which equates to the news people getting paid.

its easy to spot stories that are pure lies and, for the most part (which is key), the mainstream media (as its called these days) avoids this.

its like a con man: if you tell outright lies, youre likely to get caught. if you sell truths that are purposely presented in a somewhat theatrical manner that suits your narrative, you cant be called a liar exactly (because there is some truth in there) and you can usually excuse the accusations away by saying it was 'journalistic license' meant to 'bring awareness to an issue'.

so, Jones isnt on to something when he says the news in fake. he presents more fake news than anybody. he is correct when he points out some of their inaccuracies, however.
