From Shoplifting to Child Abuse to Hit and Run.
CHANDLER, Ariz. - Police have released video of a Chandler woman after investigators say she stole some items from a Walmart, and ended up facing several other charges after surveillance video caught her committing even more crimes. It's a Fox 10 exclusive. A Walmart at Arizona Avenue and the Loop 202 in Chandler shows surveillance video that police say is 23-year-old Nicci Paige Rounsaville. She has a child in her arms as she is shoplifting. In the video, security catches up to her and tries to block her way, asking her to stop, but she rushes out of the store. “As you see in the video, she strikes a child's head in the door-frame as she runs out of the store. She runs out to the car she has parked in a handicapped spot, puts the child in the car with no safety restraint -- just puts the child in the front seat of the car,” said Chandler Police Sgt. Joe Favazzo. The video shows her backing into a car behind her and hitting it. She drove off but caused $2,400 in damage to the car. Two days later, she showed up in the same area in Chandler, went to nail salon and allegedly shoplifted products from that shop. Employees called the police. Police said Rounsaville had an outstanding warrant for marijuana possession and had marijuana in her car. Along with the drug charges, Rounsaville faces charges of shoplifting, child abuse, causing a collision and leaving the scene of an accident. Her child is with relatives. it kind of reminds me of the lady a few years back that got caught shoplifting and the store told her to leave.......so she went out in the parking lot and beat the shit out of her toddler out of frustration.
