Shooting Reported at Post Office in Des Moines, Iowa
A female postal employee shot two co-workers Thursday at the main post office in Des Moines, Iowa, before police arrested her nearby. Another worker fell and was injured while attempting to flee. All three injured employees were hospitalized, and police said none of their injuries appeared life-threatening. Officers arrived within three minutes and detained the suspect without resistance on a nearby bicycle path. The gunfire occurred in a second-floor area closed to the public. Witnesses heard between 10 and 12 shots. A nearby elementary school and two other district facilities temporarily restricted entry and exit after police alerted Des Moines Public Schools at 9:20 a.m. The restrictions ended after police notified the district at 10 a.m. that the suspect had been detained.

Re: Shooting Reported at Post Office in Des Moines, Iowa
It’s been a while since we’ve seen someone go Postal on coworkers. She’s a heavyweight coming in at 250 pounds. She’ll be getting her mail in jail for the coming future… |
