People do odd and sick things, (to most people), in the name of religion! It would creep me out to watch a guy with a long beard near my baby's genitalia!

Well, anyone near him, except for a diaper change, but, especially with a long beard. You never know what is in there and if the rabbi's mouth is clean. But, NO sucking a baby in my presence!

We, as humans, have a lot of germs, especially to a baby whose immune system may be compromised, depending on his age.

I'm not jewish and not sure about religion, but, you'd be reading about me on here, "Crazy Mother Knocks Out Supposed Minister During Circumcision While He Attempted to Bless Baby's Penis!" That would be me!

Actually, most circumcisions I am aware of are done in hospitals very soon after the baby is born and before he comes home.
