Turkish divers were scrambled to rescue a blow-up sex doll after reports of a woman’s body floating offshore this weekend.

According to Millyet newspaper, a wide stretch of beach was cordoned off in northern Samsun province after panicked residents spotted what they thought was a body.

The doll was deflated and thrown away, Reuters said.

In July, 18 police officers were dispatched to rescue a body in East China’s Shandong Province.

A crowd of around 1,000 people assembled close to the river bank, which saw officers retrieve a blow-up sex doll from the body of water.

A report on Daily Motion claimed “anxious onlookers covered their children’s eyes” as the inflatable was pulled to safety.

It's funny but it isn't. Back in the 80's and long before Jackass, we found a mannequin. So we put it in green trash bags and slammed on the brakes on a bridge. We jumped up and started punching and kicking it and threw it over the bridge into the river.

People stopped and pulled over, called police and we were busted. We weren't charged with anything but boy did my dad whoop my ass when he picked me up.

It was funny at the time but very stupid in hindsight.
