I was saddened by this news too. He, alongside Lee Mack and Jimmy Carr, are my favourite comedians.

Same, Lee Mack is really good. Jimmy Carr has been my favourite stand up since he started (early 2000s I think). But overall, Rik Mayall was the best. I miss that bastard! So many good ones out there. Greg Davies + Joe Lycett are also fantastic.
