Hey it's possible. Seals are territorial and the dog was most likely running after the seal as it would a squirrel. Unless the owner threw something at the seals and the dog went to go get it. I dunno I wasn't there and reporters always leave out minor details which could change the whole perspective on what really happened.  |

Awww! Nice dog! Didn't realize seals like land creatures for food. Dog's name was Fly, but, he didn't. Here's a shot of the owner.  · |

Really sorry to hear the poor dog was killed by the seal. Personally I would've preferred it if the owner had been eaten by it. . If he goes out shooting ducks then got eaten by seals it'd be no loss. Alas, the dog should not have had to pay the price. Don't blame the seal either.
