Awesome! One day, hopefully, we will finally understand that if we all 'made sure' we 'conformed to strict nutritional requirements' and 'included 45 minutes of exercise', we too could be in shape...

Re: Science Teacher Eats Only McDonald's Meals for 90 Days and LOSES Weight
How can you have a control in this kind of experiment ? No 2 bodies are the same, nor is there a 'standard body', so the only way to harvest scientific data is to repeat the experiment as many times as possible with as many bodies as possible. If anything, the control in this case is the metabolic and nutritional history of each subject before he or she commenced with the experiment. For example, how your body reacts to a 2000 kcal diet composed of non-mcdonalds food items which can then be compared to how your body reacts to a 2000 kcal macdonalds diet. That is the only control available in this experiment. Give the guy some credit, he teaches science so he knows what he is doing.

I don't see how anyone can be shocked, he kept his calorie count below 2,000 a day AND exercised. It's obvious that you'll lose weight doing eating a set amount of calories a day.
