Oh, man, so a place that isn't the United States, but with more intensive screening, has violence? Absurd! I stand by my views that Austria is a suburb of Detroit.

The shooter was a 21-year-old Austrian man named Arthur Achleitner, a former student at BORG Dreierschützengasse secondary school in Graz. He shot and killed killed 10 people, nine students aged 14 to 17 and one teacher and injured 11 others before taking his own life in the school bathroom. He used a legally owned pistol and a sawed-off shotgun. Arthur A. had dropped out of the school in 2022 without graduating, was described as a loner obsessed with first-person shooter games and had been rejected from Austrian military service due to failing a psychological test. Police found a non-functional pipe bomb and a suicide note at his home, indicating he had planned the attack but discarded the bombing idea. His motive remains unclear, though unconfirmed reports suggest he was bullied at school. He had a Tumblr account. |
