To be honest, Putin was pushing the envelope and using the old Russian trick of 'accidentally' violating Turkey's airspace. The Russians were warned countless times on countless occasions and knew very well what they were doing. Putin was trying to intimidate Obama through Turkey and NATO as a whole and Turkey called his bluff. BTW, I am no fan of Turkey as ISIStanbul is a major Terror Supporter and Terror Exporter. We'll just have to see where it goes from here.  |

I lived in Adana, Turkey as a child. I can tell you that the images I saw as a child were horrid. It was a filthy rat infested dumb that had sheep going through residential apartment areas, the food couldn't be trusted, the people couldn't be trusted. I saw things no child should see. Vivid accidents, people on the road like roadkill ... they were/are animals. I suppose it's what their religion dictates. I never have been able to wrap my mind around that 2 year period, but it wasn't good. My only salvation was monthly trips to Greece to see my grandparents. I could care less what happens to Turkey.  |

Turkey should be dissolved as a nation. Divide up the land between Greece and the Kurds. Free Cyprus from the Turkish stranglehold. |
