Russian Scrap Metal Thief Defrosts Dead Bodies

A Russian scrap metal thief swiped the worst possible set of pipes, stealing the part of a morgue that kept the bodies cold. The 49-year-old suspect slipped in through an unlocked door and, according to RIA Novosti, cut the pipes out -- spilling all of the refrigerant onto the floor -- before "calmly walking away with the loot."

Morgue employees discovered the rapidly defrosting bodies the next day and described the scene as a "pending biological disaster." The thief was caught shortly after selling the pipes to a nearby scrap yard and, adding another layer of WTF to the story, apparently worked as a refrigerator repairman. So, hey, we hear there's this morgue that needs some work done ...

Idiot for sure! Some things, and I don't care what your religious beliefs are or aren't, you just don't do.

I think the dead should be left at peace and I don't think you should destroy a religious building. At least you know the people praying are not out causing any damage to the living. Some may be plotting, but, for that hour, you're safe.
