Re: Russian Cities Introduce Baby 'Drop Boxes'
I see the reasoning but they are human beings, it seems so wrong to have places to stash unwanted babies. And use fucking contraception! Educate them in that department too.

Re: Russian Cities Introduce Baby 'Drop Boxes'
That is just sad and sick. Still i can understand the reasons why they made these. On a plus note, i guess if your ever stranded in Russia and need a place to sleep for the night, you can post yourself in one of these boxes and be sucking on some milky nurse titties in no time. Poor babies they deserve better than this treatment. |

I agree, Sharon. I'm not the smartest person, but, I'd like to think I have common sense. I don't get that either. As a teen, I decided I wasn't having children and took my own precautions. This was before I knew who Maury Povich was, too. Never planned on getting married either and with some of the guys I knew, I certainly didn't want them sharing a child with me for at least 18 years. It seems so simple. |

Re: Russian Cities Introduce Baby 'Drop Boxes'
This is terrible! They look like ovens, too! Every day on the news, another baby, "disappears in the middle of the night". I knew the latest, Alya, would sadly be in that group. Diposable babies! Why have them if you don't want them? With different issues during pregnancy through no fault of the babies, I'd just find it easier not to carry them for nine months to throw them away with the trash! And if they do carry the babies to full term, give them to someone who wants them. Adoption. |

Re: Russian Cities Introduce Baby 'Drop Boxes'
As people have mentioned, better education for both males and females, and contraception is needed. The gov in Russia should also spend less on weapons and more on helping their own people get sorted. Strange though, that with all this going on, i recall seeing on the news last year, Russia was worried as their population is declining. http://geography.about.com/od/obtain.../russiapop.htm Go figure. :) |
