It's actually kind of surprising how large explosions look so much like atomic bomb mushroom clouds. I'm sure it's much cheaper for movie special effects guys to just by 50 gallons of gas, rather than setting off a REAL nuclear bomb. And none of that pesky nuclear fallout, and all those whiny complaints from the people who live in the area you are filming in. |
