I can't remember ever crying at hearing of a star's death before, but I couldn't help myself when I heard Robin was dead. It's so sad losing him like this. Requiem pace, you crazy SOB.

I passed by the Chinese Theater today, William's star is right outside their entry way...there were TV news reporters all over the place and fans and mourners passing by in numbers that I've never seen for any entertainer since Michael Jackson, but without the fanatics...the outpouring of sadness reminded me of Princess Diana, people seem to be experiencing a real sense of loss...I guess we all feel like we really knew him without ever really knowing him.

RIP Robin, we will miss you greatly.

I will share the changes made by italian television channels today to their programming schedule, to honor this man; never seen a tribute of such a magnitude for an (hollywood) star.
And not, i won't translate a word, only in italian it makes sense. Kudos to him, many people are crying for this loss.

Following*Robin Williams‘ tragic death on Aug. 11, law enforcement officials held a press conference on Aug. 12 to discuss details of the actor’s suicide. The revelations were almost too*horrific to take in.


Robin Williams*Suicide Details


Marin County Sheriff’s Lt. Keith Boyd*stood before a sea of reporters, when he revealed that the 63-year-old actor’s lifeless body was found in a slightly suspended, seated position with a belt around his neck in a bedroom of his California home on Aug. 11. The other end of the belt was between a closed door and the door frame.

And just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse, Keith announced that Robin was also found with acute, superficial wounds on the inside of his left wrist. A pocketknife was found near his body, and a red material consistent with dried blood was found on the knife. Tests*will be conducted to determine whether the substance is blood.

Boyd went on to say that Robin was last seen alive by his wife, Susan Schneider, at 10:30 PM on Aug. 10. She retired to a room in the home, while Robin went to a separate room, which is where he was found the following morning.

Robin’s wife left the home on the morning of Aug. 11, believing her husband was still asleep. It was around 11:45 AM that Robin’s assistant became alarmed when knocks on his*bedroom*door went unanswered. Upon entering Robin’s*bedroom, his*assistant found the actor’s*body and immediately called 911.

Robin’s body was reportedly cool*to the touch and according to Boyd, rigor mortis had already*set in. Shortly after paramedics arrived at 12:00 PM, Robin was pronounced dead at 12:02 PM on Aug. 11.

The Mrs. Doubtfire actor*was then transported from the scene to the Napa*County Sheriff’s Office Morgue by the Coroner Division, pending a forensic examination which was conducted prior to this press conference.

It means he was in a sitting position but still suspended above the floor by the belt. He hung himself using the door frame of the closet and once he died, his body went limp against the door. His shoulder was sitting in the crack of the door.
