Nobody paid attention to a celebrity when they were alive? How would they be a celebrity without people paying attention to them? Maybe you just aren't familiar with this particular person.
He was in perhaps a few movies/shows that made him famous, most everything else he's starred in is horse shit b-rated guff. He was about as funny as watching paint dry, but perhaps that is just me though.

Breaking News

British comedian, Rik Mayall, suffered a fatal heart attack after his usual morning run ... this, according to his family.

Mayall -- who starred in the cult 90s comedy, "Drop Dead Fred," -- passed away on Monday at the age of 56.

In a statement, Mayall's wife Barbara revealed the cause of his death, and added ... "We always knew that Rik was well loved but we are all overwhelmed by so many joining us in our grief."

She concluded by saying, "I am sure that you all know Rik’s response would be something along the lines of ... 'Well, thanks very much, all of you, now FUCK OFF!!!!'"

Gotta love an honest partner!
