I wondered about that. If I were about to die, in such a horrific way, I would not be so calm as all of these guys were. I would fight for my life, not play nice for their fucking video. At that point, what have they go to lose.

I'm sure that would be the usual response from anyone. In these guys case, they most likely started out like that on day one of the mock beheadings, and eventually got to the point of not knowing anymore. Like watching a horror film over and over I guess. |

That makes watching the videos even more horrifying.  Have you seen the video of the British hostage, they have him dressed up and acting like a news reporter. It's creepy as hell. |

Yea seen that, I couldn't imagine waking up everyday wondering, will I get beheaded (mock or real) or play new reporter.
