RAF Crew Shot Down 68 Years Ago Buried in Italian War Cemetery
Wow. That's amazing that they found them and great that they could bury them and have that ceremony. They were so young! |

Re: RAF Crew Shot Down 68 Years Ago Buried in Italian War Cemetery
20 years old, Italy will honour these (and many others) heroes forever, it's heartbreaking to think that they came from far away and lost their young lives to save ours I've been at that cemetery many years go, i didn't even know about its existence until that day: it was shocking to read so many foreign names, people from UK, from Canada, from Australia, from New Zealand, from South Africa ... more than 500 are buried there, about 400 only from UK. A visit to it should be mandatory for schoolchildren, that will teach them that war sucks more than any book on Earth |
