They do nothing. I also find it funny how some brits praise her and her family. British people are struggling to pay for food and shelter, the queen doesnt give a shit about them. Her best friends are her fellow monarch's the Saudi Arabians.     |

They don't really do much. They were born into a family that owned a lot of land and other things. The government basically has the rights to the land (which is rents) and pays living expenses for the crown. Supposedly that revenue the government generates from the land far exceeds the payment to the crown so the government benefits from it. That was my understanding of it at least but it's been a while since I've read up on it. |

Don't forget the royals are exempt from the freedom of information act, this is only what they say they cost and does not reflect the true cost
