Re: Quantum Physics Proves That There IS an Afterlife
I want to add a few more. I have been meaning to write about it elsewhere, I guess I haven't done so because I'm not sure if it will come across as stupid or whatever. The very first happened right after my mom died. My oldest was going on 2 when I took him for a walk. All the way he was walking and looking. Then we passed my great grandmother's old home. He suddenly began to turn around, looking up the driveway to the home and kept saying "granny". He had never said that before, and that is what my mother called herself (granny, or "granny gravy" ). He kept turning to look back and repeated granny several times, until we got to the next road and turned. I remember being :O at the time but in my grief it really took a back seat to everything else. I think about that all the time. I even question it sometimes. I started to doubt my mind with the check incident but I charged up my old phone and it has the pic I took and date taken and all that. So I do have proof with that! One of my besties killed herself several months after mom died. I hadn't talked to her in like a year because she did something bad to me and it really upset me. I had begun to miss her and this one evening I said to myself, "I'll call her tomorrow." Well I did, and found out she'd shot herself that night before. I wonder about that a little bit. No "ghostly" activity that I am aware of, I just had the urge to call her, ya know. The rest I can think of it just talking. My children and grandmother have heard it too. Sometimes its a whisper but most of the time they sound like a lot of talking, but it is faint like they're really far away. One time, the first time actually I heard a male voice clear as a bell. I had just come in from work, put my bag down and just stood there, and kind of drifted off mentally, enjoying being home. Suddenly I hear, "what's up, man". I about jumped out of my skin, whirled, thought someone was in my home. Nobody there! I would probably think it was just my mind had not other people heard the other talking. I probably would have never told anyone anything had others not hear it too. Certainly makes me wonder. And I look forward to more as long as they're good. |

Re: Quantum Physics Proves That There IS an Afterlife
Cancun78's posts = story of my life. I could go on and on and on and on and on about shit like that: whispers in the dark, precognition, psychic phenomena, omen birds, right place/right time incidents, verbal weather agitation, lucid dreaming, metaphysical personal bonds, et cetera, et cetera. None of it proves shit, though. I still adhere to atheism. |

Re: Quantum Physics Proves That There IS an Afterlife
The OP in absolutely no way proves that there is an afterlife. According to the article the term |after|life is a paradox in itself since that it asserts time is a mere social construction. It implies that future, present and past are all happening at the same time, more or less, so therefore there couldn't be a life after this one since it's all going on at once.

Re: Quantum Physics Proves That There IS an Afterlife
I agree, he does state that (his point being) death is not real, however, no shit, what part of this new idea is new....... its just rehashed concepts of a theory that has been more then well understood and for that matter.. Daahhh .. its already done did that
