Re: Psychological Manipulation
In my experience one of the best ways to subvert psychological manipulation (or harassment and bullying) is to pretend to not know any information. When people are trying to manipulate you (and are asking questions for instance) and you pretend you don't know anything, their information source is dried up. Furthermore, if you pretend to be naive around people it's amazing how their own personalities and behaviours come through. |

Re: Psychological Manipulation
i knew someone like this down to a t. ex bandmate. He took a lot of lsd in his youth, then stopped, years later at 22 i knew him for 2 years, great guy, bit eccentric. But i have aspergers and am bad at reading people. at 3 years, his personality changed, other band mates left, he'd forget common things and be stern he's righteous regardless of proof. It upset me that I couldn't tell, so I tested him so much so that i came to the conclusion it was unhealthy for me to be around him. Now he sends me emails all the time ending with 'take care', like he's 'concerned'. :D makes me laugh. and also slightly pity him.

Re: Psychological Manipulation
That sure explains a lot in my life. Wish I could have known this a long time ago. I'm going to print it out and have my son read it. Thank you for the information! |

Re: Psychological Manipulation
There is no way that we could ever anticipate the depth of evil the human psyche will lower to. The mask we put on psychosis with drug therapy is just as useless as telling them to take their medication. When someone is truly evil the only way to protect yourself is to remove him.
