What are the odds that multiple people with guns that are specifically looking for animals, get ambushed by animals and all eaten - without killing ANY of the attacking animals?

I really feel that these poachers were killed by patrollers/guards and were fed to the lions.

I guess that they could have been newbies on their first poach or something, but come on.....
Either way, WIN for the good guys.

What difference does it make? If I was on an anti-poaching team, that is exactly what I would do. Just kill them and leave them for the animals to eat. Then go back in a few weeks, and report the find of some chewed up dead bodies. Before I called them in, I would bury any parts that showed bullet holes.
