Pranked Nurse Kills Self - Kate's Baby

Tragic Jacintha Saldanha is believed to have committed suicide as police are not treating the death as suspicious. The King Edward VII Hospital described her as an "excellent nurse" who was "well respected and popular" with colleagues. DJs Mel Greig and Michael Christian made the prank call from Down Under, impersonating Prince Charles and the Queen to get information about Kate's condition. The duo — whose station is notorious for courting controversy — were amazed when their dodgy uppercrust British accents got them put through to Kate's ward. I just read about this on another news site and it said that the nurse who committed suicide was the one who just answered the call and then transferred it to the actual nurse taking care of Kate. Which one is it? This is another reason why I get frustrated with news agencies. The other article also said that the hospital had been supporting both nurses through this situation and that the nurse who did commit suicide was not in one ounce of trouble. I refuse to believe that's the cause, it would be incredibly senseless, and sad.  Southern Cross Austereo announced that it has suspended the pair. It wasn't an MI5's agent who failed to protect the Queen, it was just a nurse trying to be nice, that's probably what she was used to do for everybody calling the hospital seeking news about their relatives, ffs! The story makes no fucking sense. |
