I just talked to someone I know who was an Uber driver on the weekends. She just did it to get the experience so she could write about it. They do extensive background checks on your criminal and driving record.

Where they do not check is your mental health record because there is not really a place to do so. I know they like to bring up guns as the main cause of these shootings but the real problem is the nut jobs shooting them. I bet this dude has a history of mental illness.

There were far less mass shootings when we had mental institutions. We do not have to run them in the same way and people can be treated with compassion but some people just need to be there to deal with their shit.
